There are 3 methods to delete email addresses if you are using Apple Mail on your MacBook – this is method 2. You may have to use all 3 before you find one that works.
Step 1: Click once on the “Contacts” button on your screen – usually in the left hand side.
and, if you’ve searched on “Neil Hewson,” for instance, this will appear, with an “Edit” button in the bottom right hand corner.
Step 2: If you then click once on this “Edit” button, this will appear
Step 3: Then just click once on the minus sign to the left of any email addresses you don’t want.
There are three methods of deleting email addresses if you are using Apple Mail on your MacBook. If this doesn’t work, you could try one or both of these other two.
