Dealing with PayPal 1

When we’re wanting to use the services of various people and organisations, it seems we are ALWAYS surprised by how poor the help is that we get as we try to do this, even from the people and organisations themselves – we have made mention of this as we have tried to deal with eFax, MyFax and so on. It makes us wonder how these people and organisations are still in business.

But the extent to which this can be said as we’ve been trying to deal with Paypal tops everything we’ve ever experienced – we’ve found their help, or lack of it, horrendous.

We’ve tried various things, which we may write up as time allow. But when we came across something on their website claiming to be a feed back form we used it to send them this, at 12.16 PM, Australian Eastern Standard Time, on Monday, 20 March, 2017:-

We’ll let you know if we hear from them. If they are anything like MyFax, for instance, all w’ll ever get is email after email asking us why we haven’t signed up with them!!!

If any of our readers know the solution to this problem, we would be most grateful to hear from them.

We were trying to sign up with PayPal because a guy we were starting to do business with said that PayPal was the best way to pay him, and when we told him of our problems, he claimed that we could still pay money with PayPal without actually signing up with them using their “guest checkout option.” Time will tell but our guess is that we will still have just as many problems with their “guest checkout option!”

A 22 March 2017 update: To be fair, what we were told about the “guest checkout option” turned out to be completely true, and we used it to pay an account for $100 which was sent to us, with no problems at all – without actually signing up with PayPal.
